Covid Letter Update

Dear Imagine Great Western Academy Families,

We want to make you aware that we received new guidance from Franklin County Public Health, indicating that Central Ohio’s current COVID-19 conditions, as they are, will not permit us to open in an in-person setting to start the new school year.  With this new guidance we will begin the 2020-2021 school year in our 100% ONLINE LEARNING PLAN.   Online only instruction will be in place until we receive new guidance from Franklin County Public Health that COVID- 19 cases have decreased and remain low, indicating students can return to school safely in a Hybrid Learning Plan. 

Given that in-person classes may resume at some point this year, it is still vital that we continue to plan for all models that we may experience, including our Hybrid Plan and Digital Academy.  We will still be asking families to indicate if you prefer for your child to attend Imagine Great Western Digital Academy (trimester commitment regardless of what model or plan the building is in) or, if you are choosing to send their student back in-person which days Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday you would like your student to attend in person during our Hybrid Model. 

We are asking families to complete our online survey at  to select your student’s preferred learning model for the upcoming school year by August 14, 2020. 

Thank you for continuing to partner with us during this transition. Please be assured that the health and safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. We are looking forward to this school year and when we can all be together again.
