April 2, 2020
Dear Imagine Families,
We are writing to update you regarding the cancellation of all classes and school-related activities at Imagine Great Western Academy. As you may already be aware, our closure remains in place now through May 1st in accordance with Governor DeWine’s state-wide order. At this time, you should have already received and completed most of the work that was sent home or mailed for the past three weeks of distance learning. Thank you to those of you who have already returned completed work. If you have not already done so, you may return completed work in our drop box outside of the school at any time starting April 8th.
Our team has been working hard prepping materials and online resources for students to complete over the next four weeks. It is imperative that students complete this work to the best of their ability. Starting next week, parents will be able to pick up new work at the school for the next four weeks of distance learning. We will not be accepting or handling returned work at this time. To minimize interaction, from now on we will only be accepting completed work in our drop box starting April 8th. This box will be checked weekly for completed assignments.
For those students whose last name starts with (A-M) please plan to pick up your new assignments on Monday, April 6th from 9:00am-1:00pm. For students whose last name begin with (N-Z) please pick up assignments on Tuesday, April 7th from 9:00am-1:00pm. If you are unable to come during your scheduled pick up time, assignments can also be found on our schools webpage. In addition, if you reached out to us needing to borrow a Chromebook during this period you will be able to pick that up during your scheduled time. Lastly, if you ordered spring pictures we will have those ready to pick up during these times as well.
Thank you for continuing to partner with us during this transition. Please be assured that the health and safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. We miss you all terribly and are looking forward to when we can be together again.
Sincerely,
Imagine Great Western Academy
